About the Role

Swiss Re is seeking a highly skilled Strategic People Planning Consultant to join our Human Resources team. As a key member of our SPP team, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our workforce and driving business transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a company-wide Strategic People Planning practice, including generating ideas, optimizing approaches, and establishing a governance framework.
  • Drive the implementation of specific products, such as a company-wide demand planning process and location analysis process, in collaboration with other teams within the business and HR.
  • Act as an advisor and subject matter expert for dedicated business transformations, working closely with business leaders and global HR partners to define future-ready skills, analyze data, and translate insights into actionable people strategies.
  • Build compelling storylines and decks for senior management meetings.
About the Team

The SPP team is a newly established interdisciplinary team within HR, closely connected to other teams in HR and outside HR. Our mandate is to establish a strategic people planning practice for the entire company, supported by the Group Executive Committee and forming a HR Must Win initiative.

About You

We are looking for a high-energy teammate with a strong sense of ownership and dedication, comfortable working in a highly matrixed environment and with senior leaders. You should have a 'can-do' mentality, be energized by complex topics, and be able to shape something new. You should demonstrate pragmatism and speed, while also thinking strategically.

  • Minimum 3 to 5 years' experience in Strategic Workforce Planning or in a consultancy role.
  • Experience in project management, change leadership, and working in agile setups.
  • Ability to create compelling storylines and decks for senior leaders, including synthesizing data to define key people insights and metrics.
  • Exceptional communicator in English (verbal and written) and able to convince stakeholders on a senior level.
