Job Summary:

The Royal Lancaster London is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Concierge to join our team. As a Concierge, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the work of the Front of House team, ensuring the smooth arrival and departure of guests.
  • Assist in departmental training of new team members and ensure that all relevant system usage and hotel standards are being explained in full detail.
  • Provide guests with information on city maps and directories, restaurants and pubs, shops, in-house services, and daily functions.
  • Handle groups, organize porterage and room drops, VIPs, return guests, etc. Establish rapport with frequent visitors.
  • Maintain effective systems for the safekeeping, pick-up, and delivering guest mail, parcels, stored gifts, and messages.
  • Exceed guests' expectations and create a memorable experience for them during their stay at The Royal Lancaster.
  • Have a good working knowledge of hotel operations, including systems – Opera PMS & Alice.

Requirements:

  • 40 hours per week, on a shift rota.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and provide exceptional guest service.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
