Hotel Services Assistant Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Hotel Services Assistant to join our team at Bellrock Property and Facilities Management. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and maintenance in our properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality cleaning and maintenance services to our properties, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our clients and staff.
  • Work collaboratively with our team to achieve our goals and objectives, providing support and assistance as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, best practices, and current legislation, maintaining a high level of professionalism and integrity.
  • Operate cleaning machinery safely and efficiently, adhering to our Colour Coding Policy and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Perform a range of tasks, including cleaning, washing, sweeping, vacuum cleaning, mopping, and buffing, as well as emptying litter bins and removing waste to designated disposal points.
  • Polish and dust designated areas, including toilet and associated facilities, fixtures, and fittings, using the necessary powered equipment where appropriate and with relevant training.
  • Undertake any other duties reasonably required within the nature of the post, including completing ad hoc tasks as needed.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role would be beneficial, but not essential.
  • Ability to work without constant supervision, demonstrating a high level of independence and self-motivation.
  • Flexible and positive approach to team working, with a strong focus on customer service and satisfaction.
  • Good timekeeping and attendance, with a commitment to meeting deadlines and targets.
  • Ability to use cleaning machinery safely and efficiently, with a strong understanding of our Colour Coding Policy.
  • Customer service experience, with a focus on delivering exceptional service and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Familiarity with a catering and hospitality environment, with a strong understanding of the importance of cleanliness and maintenance.
  • Customer-focused, with a friendly and helpful attitude, and a commitment to providing excellent service.
  • Flexible and reliable, with a strong ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
