About the Role

In essence, you will be the voice of Buckinghamshire Council. Our Customer Service Centre handles a substantial volume of interactions, including numerous calls, Contact Us forms, and web chats annually. We also provide face-to-face assistance at our offices, supporting a significant number of customers each year. In this diverse and essential role, you will help us deliver helpful and reassuring responses.

Switching between phone calls, emails, and live web chats, the inquiries you address will be as varied as the individuals who reach out to us. Their questions will cover a wide range of topics, from registering a birth to obtaining a waste permit, applying for Council Tax discounts to social care support, and beyond.

Our training will equip you with a wealth of specialized knowledge and skills. Furthermore, we will support you in achieving a recognized Level 2 Apprenticeship in Customer Service during your spare time. As we introduce new ideas, systems, and methodologies, you will have the opportunity to grow alongside us.
