Position Overview

As a pivotal part of our customer experience, the role of the Customer Technical Advisor is essential in ensuring our clients receive exceptional support for our products and services. This position serves as the initial contact point for customer inquiries related to equipment, which may involve performing diagnostic evaluations and facilitating remote resolutions for fuel pumps and forecourt apparatus.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Conduct remote assessments of equipment situated at client locations.
  • Assist in mapping and programming tasks.
  • Generate historical reports and perform investigations, particularly concerning point-of-sale terminals or gauge alarms related to potential fuel leaks.
  • Coordinate with field engineers when remote solutions are not feasible.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Prior experience in a remote helpdesk or contact center environment, with comprehensive training provided on our products and systems.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, along with the capability to extract information, pose pertinent questions, and guide customers through issue resolution remotely.
  • Strong organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
  • The ability to remain composed under pressure and make informed decisions to advance customer inquiries.

Work Environment

This role offers a blend of office and remote work opportunities, with operational hours spanning from early morning to midnight, seven days a week. Out-of-hours support is a requirement, provided remotely on a rotational basis.
