We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team as a Principal Practitioner in Mental Health. Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality, trauma-informed, and specialist psychology services to individuals referred to the Mental Health Liaison Team.
- Undertake psychological assessments, formulations, brief interventions, and onward care planning for clients with complex physical and mental health needs.
- Provide psychological consultation, contributions to team meetings, and bring a psychological perspective to presenting distress.
- Develop and implement evidence-based practice, utilizing research skills for audit, outcomes, policy/service developments, and research.
- Provide clinical supervision, reflective practice, and post-incident support as needed.

Person Specification- Doctoral-level training in clinical psychology or a related field.
- Current registration as a Clinical Psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council.
- Experience of working with complex mental health problems, including distressing psychosis, problems associated with complex relational and emotional needs, and severe depression, anxiety, and trauma.
- Experience of clinical leadership and providing clinical supervision to psychologists and other professionals.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
