We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Elysium Healthcare as a Lead Mental Health Professional. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a specialist mental health service for people who are deaf or have complex communication needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a multidisciplinary team in providing psychological services to service users with complex needs.
- Develop and implement evidence-based psychological interventions to address a range of clinical and forensic issues.
- Supervise and mentor junior members of the team to ensure high-quality care and support.
- Collaborate with internal and external agencies to enhance treatment pathways for service users.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies that enhance staff safety and risk management.
Requirements:
- Registration with the HCPC as a Practitioner Psychologist and Charterable status with the British Psychological Society.
- Successful completion of a Doctorate level qualification in applied psychology.
- Competence in assessing, formulating, and working therapeutically with service users.
- Ability to identify and proactively resolve problems and challenges within the service.
- Experience in working with people with complex needs that are relevant to the population in the service area.
