We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cancer Pathway Coordinator to join our dynamic team in Cancer Services at United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the cancer teams by navigating and tracking patients along their pathway, coordinating all hospital appointments, investigations, and treatment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate MDT meetings in accordance with the National Cancer Peer Review standards
- Proactively manage waiting times for individual cancer patients
- Support service improvement to streamline the patient journey and improve the quality of patient care
- Use the cancer management information system for recording clinical and performance data
Requirements:
- Excellent communicator with the ability to liaise accurately with a wide range of different professional groups
- Effective team player able to work with people at all levels within the Trust
- Demonstrable evidence of working with accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to convey complex information to colleagues
- Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
