About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Clerical Officer to join our team at Louth Hospital. As a key member of the Choice & Access team, you will play a vital role in providing a professional health records service to patients, relatives, and visitors.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Carrying out Health Records duties with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Providing excellent customer service to patients, staff, and relatives via telephone and in-person
  • Covering reception areas as required
  • Working collaboratively with the team to meet tight deadlines and adapt to changing priorities

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A good standard of education with at least 5 GCSEs (grade C or above) or equivalent
  • Experience working in an office environment and with the general public in a customer-facing capacity
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and basic computer skills
