Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated HR People Partner to join our team at Reed. As an HR People Partner, you will be embedded within a Trust business unit, operational locality, or specialist service area, providing strategic advice and guidance to local management teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Advice and Guidance: Offer expert advice on complex HR issues, and support managers in implementing HR strategies.
  • HR Policy Implementation: Ensure consistent application of HR policies across the Trust, and propose necessary changes.
  • Talent Development and Management: Mentor managers to apply fair HR practices, ensuring consistency and best practices are maintained.
  • People Management and Finance: Oversee expenses and manage an Associate HR People Partner.
  • Intelligence and Reporting: Deliver regular reports on people management metrics to support strategic planning.
  • Research and Development: Conduct surveys and audits to inform HR strategies and policies.
  • Employment Legislation and Policy: Offer authoritative advice on employment legislation and HR policies.

Requirements:

  • Strong HR Knowledge: You will have a strong understanding of HR policies and procedures, and be able to provide expert advice on complex HR issues.
  • Strategic Thinking: You will be able to think strategically and provide guidance and support on HR strategies and policies.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to build strong relationships with local management teams.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: You will be able to analyze complex situations and recommend effective HR solutions.
