Role Overview

In this pivotal role, you will partner with senior leadership teams to provide exceptional guidance on all strategic human resource initiatives, enabling the organization to meet its goals and cultivate a thriving workplace culture. You will oversee a team of HR Business Partners and spearhead company-wide people strategies and solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • HR Leadership Team Contribution: Collaborate with the HR Director to shape and implement the overarching people strategy and initiatives across the organization.
  • Organizational Development: Drive the design and execution of organizational changes in partnership with senior leaders, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Workforce Planning: Identify current and future workforce needs, developing actionable plans to meet these requirements.
  • Succession Planning: Lead efforts to create a robust pipeline of senior leadership talent to support business growth.
  • Employee Engagement: Enhance employee experience and engagement through strategic initiatives in culture, communication, talent management, and performance.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Analyze key people metrics and trends to drive improvements across the organization.
  • Employee Relations: Manage sensitive employee relations cases and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with various HR specialists and business stakeholders to achieve shared objectives.

People Management:

  • Lead and develop a team of HR Business Partners, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Exemplify the organization's values and enhance the employer brand through effective leadership.
  • Provide support and coaching to senior leaders, acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Oversee the execution of organization-wide HR projects and initiatives.

Financial Management:

  • Assist in the development and oversight of the HR budget, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Manage budget responsibilities for designated HR areas and projects.

Risk Management:

  • Ensure consistency and standardization in HR processes across the organization.
  • Proactively manage people-related risks and governance within your areas of responsibility.

Candidate Profile:

  • Extensive experience in multi-site business environments with a focus on high-paced, dynamic settings.
  • Proven leadership and people management skills.
  • Strong influencing and coaching abilities, with a capacity to engage at senior levels.
  • Demonstrated success in building and maintaining effective relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Commercially astute with a strategic mindset.
  • Expertise in partnering with senior leaders on various HR disciplines, including organizational change and talent management.
  • Robust employee relations experience.
  • Proficient in organizational design and change management.
  • Ability to thrive in a matrixed organizational structure.
  • Results-oriented with strong analytical skills.
  • Technologically savvy with a good understanding of HR compliance and legislation.
  • CIPD Level 7 or equivalent qualification/experience.
