Reinsurance Account Manager

Aon is seeking a Reinsurance Account Manager to join our UK Accident & Health Reinsurance Solutions team.

In this role, you will provide essential technical support to the broking team, ensuring exceptional service delivery to our valued clients. While experience in reinsurance is beneficial, it is not a strict requirement.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the broking team to effectively market treaty reinsurance placements.
  • Offer expert technical guidance on contractual matters and engage in negotiations with clients and reinsurers.
  • Prepare comprehensive contractual documentation.
  • Gather and analyze data for client submissions, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
  • Maintain seamless communication and coordination with brokers, account managers, and clients throughout the renewal process.
  • Proactively resolve queries from both clients and reinsurers, providing timely and effective solutions.
  • Support brokers in delivering exceptional product services to our clients.
  • Maintain meticulous records within Aon's IT systems, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
  • Adhere to Aon's Risk Management Framework and policies, upholding the highest ethical standards.

Your Qualifications:

  • Relevant experience in Reinsurance broking is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead technical discussions with confidence and clarity.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, enabling effective interaction with diverse stakeholders.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in all tasks.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills, allowing for data interpretation and informed decision-making.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the (re)insurance market landscape.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, facilitating efficient document creation and analysis.
  • Ability to work effectively under deadlines, prioritizing tasks and meeting time-sensitive requirements.
