MS Amlin is seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Reinsurance Accountant to contribute to their growing Finance team in London.

The Finance function at MS AUL is undergoing significant transformation to align with key strategic objectives, including the implementation of IFRS17 reporting and streamlining the financial close process. This presents an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to play a vital role in shaping a more efficient and effective Finance department.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee all Outwards Reinsurance transactions, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Conduct thorough reconciliations of reinsurance accounts to maintain financial integrity.
  • Prepare and submit intra-group reinsurance submissions in a timely manner.
  • Calculate and analyze bad debt provisions for reinsurance portfolios.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of reinsurance accounting processes.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

The successful candidate will possess a strong foundation in insurance accounting principles, preferably with experience in the Lloyd's Market and Oracle General Ledger systems. A proactive approach, excellent analytical skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work are essential for this role.
