Position: Administrative Coordinator for Healthcare Facility

Hours: 32 hours per week
Compensation: £12 to £13 per hour

This role presents an excellent opportunity for individuals with a solid background in administration and customer relations to join a supportive and expanding healthcare team.

Work Schedule:
Monday: 2:30 PM - 6:30 PM
Tuesday: 2:30 PM - 6:30 PM
Wednesday: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM (1-hour unpaid lunch break)
Thursday: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM (1-hour unpaid lunch break)
Friday: 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Documentation:
Ensure the maintenance of precise manual and digital records and correspondence.

Front Desk Operations:
Assist with appointment scheduling, referrals, patient communications, and various administrative tasks.

Patient Follow-ups:
Oversee follow-up communications for quality outcomes, local care services, and enhanced services through phone, SMS, and written correspondence.

Mail Management:
Handle incoming and outgoing mail on a daily basis.

Telephone Management:
Respond to and direct calls professionally, ensuring accurate message delivery.

Reception Duties:
Welcome and guide patients and visitors, providing necessary information.

Appointment Management:
Process appointment requests and schedule them using the designated system.

Patient Registration:
Input data and manage records for new patients.

Information Updates:
Process changes of address and other relevant information.

Prescription Management:
Handle requests for repeat prescriptions.

Security Protocols:
Ensure safety measures are followed when opening and closing the facility.

Confidentiality Policies:
Adhere to confidentiality and information recording policies.

Respectful Interaction:
Treat all patients and visitors with dignity and respect.

Work Environment Maintenance:
Keep the reception and waiting areas clean and free from hazards.

Team Support:
Provide assistance to colleagues and demonstrate flexibility in work duties.

Professional Development:
Identify and engage in relevant training opportunities.

Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with EMIS computer system
Previous experience in a healthcare or medical setting

Required Qualifications:
