Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our manufacturing processes and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize problem-solving skills and lean manufacturing techniques to identify and resolve maintenance issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Drive improvements across the maintenance team to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance overall performance.
  • Develop and implement corrective actions to address root causes of issues and prevent future occurrences.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of maintenance activities and projects.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation, including maintenance records, procedures, and training materials.
  • Ensure compliance with EHS and security policies and procedures, and conduct timely reporting and support investigation of accidents, near misses, and breaches of rules.
Requirements
  • Minimum of HND level or higher in a relevant engineering discipline, such as electrical control or automated systems.
  • Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of lean philosophies and problem-solving techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and continuous improvement.
