About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Executive to join our team at Toast. As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for building relationships with restaurant owners and operators in your local area, understanding their unique needs, and developing customized solutions to help their businesses thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate a list of prospective restaurants and manage the entire sales cycle from initial contact to close
  • Conduct demos and develop a solution that best meets the prospect's needs
  • Partner with teams across the business to ensure that expectations set during the sales process are met in delivery
  • Leverage our CRM system to manage all sales activities
  • Understand the competitive landscape and determine how to best position Toast in the market

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of experience in a sales or business development role, preferably in the restaurant industry
  • Strong communication, organizational, and presentation skills with the ability to sell and negotiate at all decision-making levels
  • Proven track record of success in meeting and exceeding sales goals
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and team environment
  • Self-motivated, creative, and flexible
  • General technical proficiency with software
  • Experience with CRM systems is a plus
