Healthcare Reception Coordinator

Position Overview
We are seeking dedicated individuals to become part of our care navigation team.
As a prominent healthcare facility, we pride ourselves on our supportive and friendly environment, aiming to nurture and develop staff with a background in the NHS to thrive within our dynamic team.
The responsibilities of this role encompass reception and telephonic duties, assisting patients, and managing the busy administrative tasks that include processing referrals, handling prescription requests, and supporting our extensive clinical team comprising Doctors, Paramedics, Nurses, Pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals in delivering exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities include:
- Engaging with patients both in person and over the phone.
- Providing assistance and support to colleagues within local community services and acute trusts.
- Managing all practice-related documentation, including referrals, prescriptions, and reports.
- Addressing administrative and email inquiries from patients and other stakeholders.
- Assisting clinicians as a chaperone when required (comprehensive training will be provided).
- Ensuring timely and effective completion of patient registrations and deductions.
- Supporting the nursing team during baby clinics.
- Collaborating with the data team to ensure effective delivery of QOF and local contracts.
About Our Team
We are a welcoming and large team that includes both clinical and non-clinical roles.

This position is full-time, with part-time opportunities considered. However, we require all staff to work at least one 8:00 AM start per week and one late shift until 6:30 PM weekly. Additionally, staff may be scheduled to work until 8:00 PM on designated days.
We offer 6 weeks of annual leave (pro rata), in addition to 8 bank holidays (pro rata), and provide a paid 30-minute lunch break for shifts exceeding 6 hours.
Regular staff training sessions are held, along with a monthly staff appreciation day and an annual Christmas shopping day.
Uniforms are provided, and participation in the NHS pension scheme is available for those interested.
