Position Overview

We are pleased to announce an opportunity for an IT Support Specialist to join our team.

In this role, you will deliver 1st and 2nd line support as part of our IT Service Desk, while also maintaining our systems, software, and infrastructure to ensure a professional and efficient service is provided. You will assist both onsite personnel and remote users through remote access tools and provide initial support for client-facing portals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Delivering 1st and 2nd line support, escalating to 3rd line support when necessary, and collaborating effectively within the Service Desk team.
  • Managing incoming requests through the ticketing system, categorizing and logging issues appropriately while ensuring compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Proactively troubleshooting issues to achieve resolutions for end users.
  • Exhibiting exceptional customer service skills when assisting users in a professional and approachable manner, demonstrating empathy towards user concerns.
  • Supporting IT services across the organization and multiple remote worker locations.
  • Assisting the broader IT & Change team with ongoing IT initiatives and projects.
Qualifications:

Ideal Candidate:
  • Familiarity with various technologies, including Windows 10, Citrix/VDI, Microsoft O365, One Drive, SharePoint, Teams, Intune, Azure AD/Active Directory, and Exchange.
  • Understanding of key components of IT infrastructure, such as networking, telephony, operating systems, application servers, firewalls, and mobile devices.
  • Experience in 1st and 2nd Line Service Desk roles is advantageous.
  • Outstanding customer service skills, with the ability to build rapport and empathize with end users.
  • Proficient in managing multiple concurrent tasks while adhering to time and resource constraints.
