About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and dynamic Claims Handler to join our Fleet and Specialist Products team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for proactively managing a portfolio of Fleet and Specialist products in motor claims from start to settlement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Validate all claims for indemnity and fraud, ensuring accurate and timely decision-making.
  • Establish our exposure in respect of all Heads of Damage, ensuring key information is obtained and updated on the claim file.
  • Accurately assess claims presented using relevant tools and commercial decision-making to minimize indemnity spend.
  • Accountability for own performance against set objectives, including coaching and mentoring of less experienced handlers.
  • Perform other ad-hoc tasks as required by the business.
Requirements
  • Significant experience in handling Personal Injury and/or Credit Hire claims, with commercial market awareness and extensive working knowledge of the Pre-Action Protocol, Civil Procedure Rules, and hourly rate costs.
  • Experience of handling Injury claims outside of the Low Value Personal Injury claims Portal.
  • Ability to work in a culture of openness, trust, and respect, with a strong focus on customer service and relationship management.
