This role involves the proactive oversight of a diverse portfolio of Fleet and Specialist products in motor claims, guiding each case from initiation to resolution. The position encompasses various aspects of claims including Accidental Damage, Property Damage, Credit Hire, and Third-party Personal Injury claims (both Portal and Non-Portal).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with potential claimants or their representatives promptly to ascertain our liability regarding all aspects of damage, ensuring that critical information is gathered and recorded on the claim file.
  • Conduct precise assessments of the claims presented, utilizing the appropriate tools to aid in the evaluation.
  • Make informed commercial decisions to minimize indemnity expenditures.

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess a robust background in insurance claims, particularly with a sound understanding of indemnity. Experience in Personal Injury and/or credit hire claims, along with a comprehensive awareness of the commercial market, is essential.

Additionally, familiarity with the Pre-Action Protocol, Civil Procedure Rules, and hourly rate costs is highly desirable.
