Overview of the Position
Pro Insurance Solutions Ltd is excited to announce an opening for a Specialist Claims Coordinator to become a vital part of our dedicated Claims Team.
This role supports a flexible working arrangement, primarily allowing for remote work with occasional visits to our regional hubs as necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Under the supervision of the Claims Manager, the Specialist Claims Coordinator will manage a portfolio of complex claims related to asbestos exposure and other respiratory conditions, including but not limited to:-
- Mesothelioma
- Lung Cancer
- Asbestosis
- Diffuse Pleural Thickening
- Additional respiratory claims
- Overseeing all case management activities and correspondence within established timelines
- Engaging with legal representatives and insurance brokers
- Cultivating strong professional relationships both internally and externally
- Ensuring meticulous record-keeping for compliance and auditing purposes
- Detecting potential fraudulent activities
- Actively assisting the team in achieving their goals and overall business targets
- Offering expert advice and support to clients
- Monitoring litigated claims to ensure strategic alignment
- Participating in relevant projects within the sector
- Enhancing Client Relationships
- Representing Pro Insurance Solutions Ltd with professionalism to peers and industry contacts
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong background in handling EL/PL disease claims, particularly those related to asbestos
- Ability to meet Service Level Agreements effectively
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Understanding of claims processes and relevant legislation concerning asbestos-related diseases
- Appropriate Claims Handling Authority/Licence for the role
- Flexibility in adapting to changes
- Exceptional relationship-building skills with a professional demeanor
- Experience in coaching and mentoring
