Job Summary:
Davies Group is seeking a skilled Claims Handler to join our Motor Claims team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of Pre-Litigated Motor Claims, including personal injury from inception to settlement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively manage a caseload of motor claims, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- Maintain accurate data on relevant case management systems, adhering to set client Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Ensure quality service standards and productivity levels are maintained to a high standard, allocating new claims and setting strategies as needed.
- Carry out supervisory tasks appropriate to level, assisting with training and mentoring junior team members.
- Undertake additional tasks provided by the Team Leader, attending client review meetings and assisting with client project work where applicable.
- Build and maintain excellent relationships with clients, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of claims handling experience, with a strong understanding of commercial motor claims.
- Excellent attention to detail, strong communication and negotiation skills, and strong organisational skills.
- Supervisory experience is desirable, as is the ability to manage own volume workload via task management.
- Strong client relationship skills, with the ability to work as a team and independently.
