HR Advisor

We are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join our team at Spire Healthcare Ltd. As an HR Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting the hospital with all aspects of HR, providing expert advice and guidance to Spire colleagues and managers.
Key Responsibilities- Workforce Planning: Collaborate with the hospital Senior Management Team to drive effective workforce planning, ensuring the right talent is in place to deliver our purpose.
- Onboarding and Induction: Lead the hospital onboarding activities for all new joiners, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for new colleagues.
- Probation and Performance Management: Support managers and new starters through probation periods, providing guidance and advice to ensure successful outcomes.
- HR Administration: Ensure accurate and confidential management of all colleague HR files and personal information, adhering to GDPR guidelines.
- Wellbeing and Absence Management: Actively manage absence within the hospital, promoting wellbeing and providing support to managers and colleagues.
- Employee Relations: Be the initial point of contact for all HR matters, providing high-quality, consistent HR advice and guidance.
- Disciplinary and Grievance Procedures: Support managers in performance management processes, disciplinary, and grievance issues, ensuring fairness and consistency.
- Appraisals and Pay Reviews: Coordinate the appraisal process, supporting managers to have regular 1:1s with colleagues and ensuring fairness and consistency in pay reviews.
- CIPD Qualification: Level 5 CIPD qualification or equivalent.
- HR Experience: Demonstrable experience as a HR Advisor or in another HR-based role.
- Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of HR functions and systems, employment laws, and disciplinary/grievance procedures.
- Business Acumen: Ability to identify and implement business-focused solutions, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Communication and Relationship-Building: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels and build strong relationships.
- Organisation and Time Management: Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise workload and manage confidential information.
