We are seeking a Patient Services Coordinator to join our team at The Manor Hospital. The ideal candidate will have a background in customer service, showcasing outstanding communication abilities. As a collaborative team member, you will excel at multitasking while maintaining a keen attention to detail and adaptability. Proficiency in IT, particularly with software such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the information received from patient online bookings and the contact center, ensuring all necessary details are collected, updated, and relevant appointments are scheduled.
  • Act as the primary contact for consultant inquiries, engaging with medical professionals and addressing their questions.
  • Assist the Business Development Manager with related tasks as needed.
  • Support the Medical Secretaries and Hospital Bookings Teams to ensure that customer inquiries and requirements are handled effectively.
  • Maintain accurate and current records of all patient interactions in line with company protocols and within designated timeframes.
  • Proactively cultivate constructive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage consultant inquiries and promote access to scheduling and online resources.
  • Ensure the knowledge base for referrers is kept current and managed efficiently.
  • Distribute incoming communications (reports, emails, phone calls) to the appropriate parties to ensure appointments are processed effectively and within specified timeframes.
  • Coordinate with relevant departments to maintain agreed-upon booking availability.
  • Provide training, guidance, and leadership to new team members joining the department.
