About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Desk Engineer to join our dynamic IT team at iO Associates - UK/EU. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing first-class technical support and ensuring the smooth operation of our systems and platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Support: Provide first and second-line technical support to internal users and external customers, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Service Desk Management: Manage and prioritize service desk tickets to ensure timely resolution, collaborating with various teams to improve our IT infrastructure.
  • IT System Maintenance: Assist in the maintenance and support of IT systems, including retail and e-commerce platforms, ensuring they operate seamlessly.
  • Process Improvement: Collaborate with the IT team to implement new technologies and improve existing systems, documenting issues, resolutions, and processes to enhance service desk knowledge.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience in a service desk or IT support role, preferably in a retail or e-commerce environment.
  • Technical Skills: Strong technical skills, including knowledge of operating systems, network troubleshooting, and hardware maintenance.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, with a customer-focused mindset and strong communication skills.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a passion for technology and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
