Job Title: SEND Transport Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate SEND Transport Assistant to join our team at EMED Group. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of SEND children to and from school.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transport SEND children to and from school, adhering to strict safety protocols and procedures.
  • Build strong relationships with service users, their families, and colleagues to ensure a seamless and supportive experience.
  • Assist with the handling of service users, including lifting, securing, and helping them in and out of vehicles.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the smooth operation of our transportation services.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge in patient handling and transportation.
Requirements:
  • FREC 3 Training (Certificate in First Response Emergency Care)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends
  • Valid UK driving license and a good driving record
  • Enhanced DBS check
  • PHV taxi license
