Job Title: SEND Transport Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate SEND Transport Assistant to join our team at EMED Group. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of SEND children to and from school.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transport SEND children to and from school, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
  • Build strong relationships with service users, their families, and colleagues to provide a high-quality service.
  • Assist with the handling of service users, including lifting, securing, and helping them in and out of vehicles.
  • Ensure vehicles are kept safe, clean, and tidy, adhering to company standards.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
Requirements:
  • FREC3 Training (Certificate in First Response Emergency Care)
  • Committed to Community Care
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Calm, considerate, and careful driving skills
  • Physical fitness for patient handling and wheelchair on/off boarding
  • Enhanced DBS check
  • PHV taxi license
  • Ability to work flexible shifts
