Position: Facility Cleaner, Sgoil Lionacleit
Hours: 16.5 hours per week, term time, Permanent Position
Salary: £9 - £9 per annum, including £1 Distant Islands Allowance
We are looking for a dedicated Facility Cleaner to fulfill 16.5 hours per week during term time. The role involves performing a variety of cleaning tasks, which include:
- Maintaining cleanliness of floors
- Dusting and cleaning furniture and fixtures in assigned areas
- Sanitizing toilets and changing facilities
- Executing cleaning tasks such as washing, sweeping, vacuuming, and emptying waste bins
- Polishing and dusting designated areas and equipment, utilizing powered cleaning tools when necessary
The ideal candidate should possess a solid understanding of the cleaning standards required in commercial environments. Previous experience in a similar role is essential, along with a demonstrated awareness of Health and Safety protocols regarding the handling and storage of cleaning materials and equipment.
This position requires membership in the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme due to the nature of the work involving children.
The salary for this position includes the Distant Islands Allowance, and the appointment will commence at the initial point of the salary grade.
