Position: Cleaner, Sgoil Lionacleit
Hours: 16.5 hours per week, term time, Permanent
Salary: £9 - £9 per annum, inclusive of £1 Distant Islands Allowance
We are looking for a dedicated cleaner to fulfill a role of 16.5 hours per week during term time. The primary responsibilities include performing general cleaning tasks, which encompass the upkeep of floors, as well as the cleaning and dusting of furniture and fixtures in assigned areas. Additional duties involve the sanitation and disinfection of restrooms and changing facilities.
The cleaning responsibilities consist of washing, sweeping, vacuuming, emptying waste bins, polishing, and dusting of designated spaces, fixtures, and fittings, utilizing powered equipment when necessary.
Candidates should possess a solid understanding of the cleaning standards required in commercial environments, along with prior experience in a similar role. It is essential to demonstrate knowledge of Health and Safety protocols concerning the handling and storage of cleaning materials and equipment.
This position requires membership in the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme for work involving children.
The salary for this position includes the Distant Islands Allowance, and the appointment will be made at the initial point of the salary grade.
