Workplace Parking Levy Project Lead

About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to lead project management efforts within our Innovation & Change Team, specifically focusing on parking services. This includes overseeing projects related to the Workplace Parking Levy (WPL), on- and off-street parking operations, and parking regulation and compliance.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in driving forward innovative solutions within the parking sector. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring projects throughout their lifecycle, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
About You
The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of project management methodologies and a proven track record of success in delivering complex projects. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to effectively collaborate with stakeholders across various departments and external partners.
A passion for sustainable transport initiatives and a commitment to improving the efficiency and effectiveness of parking services are essential qualities for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement project plans, outlining clear objectives, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Manage project budgets and ensure financial accountability throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and addressing any concerns.
- Ensure projects adhere to relevant regulations and best practices.
