District Enforcement Limited is a leading supplier in the car park enforcement industry, with 500 contracts across the UK. We are currently recruiting for a Parking Enforcement Officer based in Nottingham.

As a Parking Enforcement Officer, you will be responsible for patrolling the site, working closely with senior management to ensure efficient monitoring and enforcement of the site. You will be using the latest equipment to issue PCNs (Parking Charge Notices) to vehicles that are in contravention of the parking regulations.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in a customer service role and handling difficult situations in a professional manner.
  • The ability to communicate with offenders, often in demanding circumstances, in a calm and assertive manner.
  • The ability to deal with members of the public from all cultures and backgrounds in a diplomatic and professional manner.
  • The ability to be resilient, as some interactions with offenders can become confrontational.
  • The ability to defuse hostile situations in a professional manner.
  • Must enjoy working in the outdoors and in all weather conditions.
  • The ability to work under pressure, independently or as part of a team, and on own initiative to carry out the enforcement role.
  • Excellent communication skills are required, both written and spoken.
  • Will be physically fit, as you may be required to carry out foot patrol for prolonged periods.

You will be required to work between 15 and 22 hours per week, Monday to Sunday (including Bank Holidays), with flexibility for the role essential.

Please note that due to the nature of the role, all successful candidates will undergo a DBS check prior to commencement of employment, and will also be required to provide satisfactory references.
