Parking Enforcement Officer Job Description

District Enforcement Limited is a leading supplier in the car park enforcement industry, with 500 contracts across the UK. We are currently recruiting for a Parking Enforcement Officer based in Nottingham.

As a Parking Enforcement Officer, you will be responsible for patrolling the site and enforcing parking regulations. You will work closely with senior management to ensure efficient monitoring and enforcement of the site.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Patrolling the site to monitor parking regulations
  • Issuing PCNs (Parking Charge Notices) to vehicles in contravention of parking regulations
  • Working with senior management to ensure efficient monitoring and enforcement of the site
  • Communicating with offenders and members of the public in a professional and diplomatic manner
  • Dealing with difficult situations and hostile interactions in a calm and assertive manner
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a customer service role and handling difficult situations
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Physical fitness to carry out foot patrol for prolonged periods
  • Flexibility to work between 15 and 22 hours per week, Monday to Sunday (including Bank Holidays)
