Commercial Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Manager to join our team at SYSTRA UK & Ireland. As a key member of our commercial team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the growth and success of our business.
Key Responsibilities- Contract Review and Negotiation: Review and negotiate contractual documentation, including non-disclosure agreements, MOUs, Teaming Agreements, and bespoke / standard form professional services contracts.
- Value Engineering: Explore and suggest value engineering opportunities to optimize costs without compromising quality.
- Tender Document Preparation: Collaborate with the bid team to prepare and review tender documents.
- Commercial Relationship Development: Develop open and trusting commercial relationships with internal stakeholders, design joint venture partners, contractors, and end-user clients.
- Pre-Contract Commercial Support: Support the Pre-Contract Commercial Team in the pre-contract commercial requirements of assigned opportunities.
- Commercial Risk Assessment: Assess and analyze project requirements and risks, undertaking commercial risk assessment of bid contract documents, terms, and conditions.
- Contract Amendment Negotiation: Determine and successfully negotiate suitable amendments to contract documents, terms, and conditions with clients and supply chain partners.
- Bid Support: Support the bidding process, including the negotiation of NDAs, MoUs, Teaming Agreements, Tender Design Services Agreement, Design Services Agreement, and Joint Venture Agreements.
- Commercial Strategy Development: In conjunction with the Pre-Contract Senior Commercial Manager and Commercial Director, set and discharge bid / project commercial strategies where appropriate.
- Post-Contract Handover: Support the post-contract handover to the project commercial team, engaging with clients and partners where issues require escalation.
- Commercial Reporting: Provide monthly commercial reporting as required.
- Process Adherence: Ensure adherence to SYSTRA commercial processes, including change management and risk management.
