Job Title: Product Development Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Development Manager to join our team at Universal Business Team. As a Product Development Manager, you will be responsible for leading the development of new products and product lines, ensuring they meet the needs of our customers and align with our business strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Development:
    • Develop and implement product development strategies to drive business growth and revenue.
    • Lead cross-functional teams to design, develop, and launch new products and product lines.
    • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure products meet quality and compliance standards.
    • Manage product development budgets and ensure timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Sourcing:
    • Develop and implement sourcing strategies to optimize supply chain efficiency and reduce costs.
    • Build and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure they meet our quality and compliance standards.
    • Manage the receipt and despatch of product development samples and development materials.
  • Sustainability:
    • Develop and implement sustainability strategies to reduce our environmental impact and improve our brand reputation.
    • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure they meet our sustainability standards.
    • Provide key messages and direction to our Marketing Manager to ensure we communicate our brand strengths and positioning.
  • Compliance:
    • Ensure all products meet relevant regulatory compliance requirements.
    • Operate business processes and structures to ensure our brand is always protected.
    • Manage product range control by geographical region depending on legal and regulatory compliance requirements.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a Product Management role, ideally within the PPE industry.
  • Knowledge of legal regulatory compliance.
  • Strong communication and analysis skills.
