Job Summary:

Orion Electrotech is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join its growing Research and Development Team. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical components and products from initial concept to full-scale manufacture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop mechanical components and products using 3D CAD software
  • Produce design briefs and specifications for new products
  • Manage project budgets and Bill of Materials (BOM) costs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design for assembly and design for manufacture
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and drawings

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • 3-5 years of industrial experience in mechanical design and development
  • Proficient in 3D CAD software and experience with full product life-cycle design processes
  • Strong understanding of design for assembly and design for manufacture principles
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
