Job Title: Reception SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: Northfield, B31

Daily Rate: £85- £100

Contract: Temp to Perm

Job Summary: LTF Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN teaching assistant to support children with special educational needs in a Reception class.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to children with SEN in a Reception class
  • Work collaboratively with the teaching staff to develop and implement personalized learning plans
  • Assist with lesson planning and preparation to ensure a smooth and engaging learning experience
  • Support the class teacher in maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers to ensure a consistent approach to supporting children with SEN

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in an early years environment, preferably in a Reception or Nursery setting
  • Experience supporting children with SEN, either individually or in small groups
  • Qualifications or relevant degree in a field related to special educational needs
  • Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with colleagues and parents
  • Sound understanding of the EYFS curriculum and its application in a Reception class
