Role Overview:
LTF Recruitment Ltd is seeking a compassionate and supportive SEN Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant primary school in Northfield, Birmingham. This role involves working closely with children in the reception class, providing tailored support to those with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a well-equipped resource base.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support children on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.
- Assist in the development of individualized learning plans.
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff to create an inclusive learning environment.
- Monitor and report on student progress.
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience in early years settings, such as reception or nursery.
- Background in supporting children with SEN.
- Possession of relevant qualifications or degrees in education or child development.
- Ability to work effectively within a team.
- Understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
