About the Role

This is a pivotal position within our team, serving as the first point of contact for all customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest customer service levels are consistently achieved.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and acknowledge customer orders, ensuring queries are processed within agreed service levels
  • Process quotes and maintain up-to-date knowledge of customer progress
  • Send out invoices and address any related queries
  • Participate in sales and cost reduction initiatives
  • Collaborate with external sales teams to maintain strong customer service levels
  • Contribute to team and business improvement processes, offering innovative ideas
  • Perform various ad hoc duties as required
Requirements
  • Organized and able to prioritize workload
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Positive and upbeat nature
  • Experience working in an office-based customer service environment
  • Highly organized with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • True team player
  • Proficient in MS Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Desirable Criteria
  • Manufacturing or construction industry experience
  • Own transport
  • Knowledge of a CRM Database System
