About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Site Manager to join our team at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong leadership skills, effective communication, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the overall running of hospital sites, ensuring safe and effective patient flow and quality of care.
  • Act as a role model, promoting a positive image of the team and organization.
  • Develop good working relationships with staff at all levels, ensuring effective utilization of available bed-stock and adherence to organizational policies.
  • Rotate between day and night duty at Preston and Chorley to remain aware of all areas of operational management and flow.
  • Work as an effective member of the multi-professional team to ensure effective patient flow across the organization.
Requirements
  • Appropriate Professional Registration (NMC)
  • Degree in Nursing (or significant experience with supporting portfolio of evidence)
  • Evidence of continuous professional development or development in areas of speciality
  • Substantial post-registration experience within an acute hospital Trust
  • Substantial experience working in patient flow/Bed Management
  • Effective communicator able to communicate complex and sensitive information
