As a key member of our team, you will oversee the management of Security operations and Soft Services, ensuring compliance with pharmaceutical quality and regulatory standards.

Your role will involve ensuring that all Security and soft services providers adhere to the relevant standards outlined in Master Services and local contractual agreements.

In this position, you will act as the facility owner for all operational and capital expenditure initiatives related to Facilities.

You will report directly to the senior facilities manager.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Under general supervision, the Facilities Operations Supervisor will be responsible for leading and managing the security operations across multiple sites through the designated Security Sub-contractor. You will also provide support for Security matters related to other locations as needed.
  • Ensure that Security services are delivered in accordance with current regulations, legislation, and organizational standards.
  • Accountability for security procedures and Assignment Instructions.
  • Coordinate day-to-day Facilities activities, focusing on the development, maintenance, and enhancement of outsourced services, including general facilities services, catering, and waste management.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders, including VP manufacturing, site heads, and the Engineering Leadership team, to ensure that outsourced service provision meets operational and legal compliance requirements.
  • Manage and support the Facilities Management budget to ensure effective and cost-efficient service delivery.
  • Collect and monitor data to provide accurate responses to reported issues, escalating cGMP-related concerns to Leadership and Quality stakeholders.
  • Review and revise standard operating procedures (SOPs), specifications, and drawings to ensure compliance with relevant Health and Safety standards, local zoning laws, and GMP regulations.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Recognized industry Security and Manned Guarding Qualification.
  • Minimum certification from the Institute of Workplace and Facilities Management.
  • Demonstrated experience in a Facilities/Security environment.
  • Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations.
  • Strong communication skills with stakeholders.
  • Proactive problem-solving mindset with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Functional knowledge of operations within a GMP-regulated environment.
