Job Description:
HR GO Recruitment is seeking an experienced Facilities Supervisor to join our team. As a Facilities Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the operational cleaning and waste management activities in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and plan operational cleaning activities to meet customer standards
- Oversee waste collections/processing activities and review/amend waste assignments as needed
- Ensure efficient working of operational resources, both as teams and individuals
- Maintain a safe working environment by ensuring compliance with safety regulations
- Provide necessary training and resources, including visual aids and PPE
- Handle materials in accordance with COSHH guidelines
- Maintain knowledge of company processes and systems, to assist with disciplinary procedures and timesheet reporting
- Lead and support teams of employees, prioritise tasks, and work to tight deadlines
Requirements:
- Previous experience in cleaning and waste management is essential
- Strong people management skills with the ability to multitask, prioritise, and delegate work effectively
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, management, and customers
- Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and best practices
