About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Supervisor to join our Maintenance team at Liverpool Football Club. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of our facilities, ensuring that all operational maintenance works are planned and executed efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and direct a team of contractors to deliver outstanding service and ensure that all works are completed to a high standard.
- Carry out reactive tasks and repairs to electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems, ensuring that all work is carried out safely and efficiently.
- Act as the main point of contact for site facilities managers, providing technical guidance and support as needed.
- Undertake and arrange all planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) to be completed on schedule, ensuring that all sites are maintained to a high standard.
- Plan and arrange reactive tasks following service visits, ensuring that all works are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Drive innovation and high levels of customer service, anticipating and leading market trends in the relevant trade area.
- Support the facilities managers with identifying works to be carried out by external contractors, ensuring clear scope of works and timely completion.
- Assist in fostering a supportive and proactive outlook towards the business, all departments, and the core functions of the Club.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations, including COSHH, and maintain accurate records and site logbooks.
- Manage contractors on site, delivering briefings and setting clear expectations for service delivery, standards, and health and safety.
Requirements:
- Level 2 City & Guilds in Electrical or Plumbing, and a minimum of 5 years' experience in trade.
- Previous experience in facilities management and understanding of electrical regulations pertaining to heating, refrigeration, and air conditioning systems.
- Previous experience in managing contractors on site, ensuring works are completed to high standards.
- Full clean driver's license and relevant licenses (IPAF, PASMA, CSCS, etc.).
