Facilities Operations Supervisor

As a key member of our team, you will oversee the management of Security operations and Soft Services across various sites, ensuring compliance with pharmaceutical quality and regulatory standards.
Your role will involve ensuring that all Security and soft services providers adhere to the established standards outlined in Master Services and local contractual agreements.
In this position, you will act as the facility owner for all operational and capital expenditure initiatives related to Facilities.
You will report directly to the Senior Facilities Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Under general supervision, the Facilities Operations Supervisor will be responsible for leading and managing the security operations across multiple sites through the designated Security Sub-contractor. You will also provide support for Security matters related to other locations as needed.
- Ensure that Security services are delivered in accordance with current regulations, legislation, and organizational standards.
- Accountability for security procedures and Assignment Instructions.
- Coordinate day-to-day Facilities activities and manage the performance of outsourced services, including general facilities services, catering, and waste management.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders such as the VP of Manufacturing, site leadership, and the Engineering Leadership team to ensure that outsourced service provision meets operational and legal compliance requirements.
- Assist in managing the Facilities Management budget to ensure the effective and economical provision of outsourced services.
- Collect and monitor data to ensure accurate responses to reported issues, escalating cGMP-related concerns to Leadership and Quality stakeholders.
- Review and update standard operating procedures (SOPs), specifications, and drawings to ensure compliance with relevant Health and Safety standards, local zoning laws, and GMP regulations.
Your Skills and Experience:
- Recognized industry qualification in Security and Manned Guarding.
- Minimum certification from the Institute of Workplace and Facilities Management.
- Demonstrated experience in a Facilities/Security environment.
- Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations.
- Strong communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
- Proactive problem-solving mindset with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
- Functional knowledge of operations within a GMP-regulated environment.
