Facilities Operations Supervisor

As a Facilities Operations Supervisor, you will oversee the management of Security operations and Soft Services, ensuring compliance with pharmaceutical quality and regulatory standards.
Your role will involve ensuring that all Security and Soft Services providers adhere to the relevant standards outlined in Master Services and local contractual agreements.
You will act as the facility owner for all operational and capital expenditure initiatives related to Facilities.
Reporting to the Senior Facilities Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and managing the security operations across multiple sites through the designated Security Sub-contractor, while also providing support for related Security aspects as needed.
- Ensuring that Security services are delivered in accordance with applicable regulations, legislation, and organizational standards.
- Being accountable for security procedures and Assignment Instructions.
- Coordinating day-to-day Facilities activities and enhancing the performance of outsourced services, including general facilities management, catering, and waste management.
- Collaborating with key stakeholders, such as the VP of Manufacturing and site leadership, to ensure that outsourced service provision meets operational and legal compliance requirements.
- Managing and supporting the Facilities Management budget to ensure cost-effective service delivery.
- Collecting and monitoring data to accurately respond to reported issues, escalating cGMP-related concerns to Leadership and Quality stakeholders.
- Reviewing and revising standard operating procedures (SOPs), specifications, and drawings to ensure compliance with Health and Safety standards, local zoning laws, and GMP regulations.
Your Skills and Experience:
- Recognized qualification in Security and Manned Guarding.
- Minimum certification from the Institute of Workplace and Facilities Management.
- Demonstrated experience in a Facilities/Security environment.
- Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations.
- Strong communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
- Proactive problem-solving mindset with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
- Functional knowledge of operations within a GMP-regulated environment.
