Account Manager for At-Risk Customers

We are seeking a dedicated Vulnerable Customer Account Manager to join our Business Support division.
About the Business Support Team:
The Business Support Team is tasked with overseeing the portfolio of vulnerable customers. This includes individuals who need extra assistance and customized support due to health challenges or personal situations that hinder their financial management. This position is vital in ensuring that these customers receive the appropriate help.
Salary: £30,000 - £33,500

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist vulnerable customers encountering financial challenges.
- Manage a portfolio of clients requiring personalized support throughout the debt recovery process.
- Establish manageable payment plans and clarify legal documentation.
- Direct customers to appropriate charities and organizations.
- Engage effectively with vulnerable clients through phone and email communications.
- Handle sensitive discussions regarding personal issues, including mental health concerns.
- Opportunity to obtain a formal certification in managing vulnerable customers.
- Proactively identify and address risks, issues, or control weaknesses in daily operations.
Qualifications:
- Experience in supporting vulnerable customers, ideally within financial services.
- Empathetic and professional demeanor, resilient in challenging conversations.
- Ability to craft tailored emails that meet customer needs.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Skilled in resolving complex issues with a focus on customer satisfaction.
