The Fulfilment Manager will be responsible for leading the physical operations in both Retail and International areas to ensure stock is made available to the business in a timely manner and that demand for this stock is fulfilled within the required timelines.

This role would be ideal for a Shift Manager looking to step up into a senior management position.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience at DC department manager level, with extensive experience of operating in a Retail DC environment.

Key responsibilities will include managing the overall flow of stock through both Retail and International warehouses, leading a team of 4 Warehouse Supervisors, and implementing processes and ways of working to leverage synergies across the whole DC.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the overall flow of stock through both Retail and International warehouses.
  • Lead the team of 4 Warehouse Supervisors, ensuring they are targeted and developed as necessary.
  • Implement processes and ways of working to leverage synergies across the whole DC.
  • Manage required headcount, with the provision of additional resource as required.
  • Control DC functions to ensure all KPIs and SLAs are met.
  • Maintain the required Health and Safety standards within the operation.
  • Deliver a process of continuous improvement by leading and driving change to increase site efficiencies and deliver best service to the business.
  • Maintain clear productivity records to both monitor UPH and help drive improvements.
  • Ensure all physical DC operations are undertaken in line with audited processes to ensure compliance with HMRC and AEO regulations, as well as in line with the conditions of the DC customs bond.
  • Manage costs and expenditure within agreed budgets and take full accountability for operational costs associated with the physical operations.
  • Present outbound shipments in line with specified customer requirements.
  • Support other DC departments as required.
