About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Fulfilment Manager to lead our physical operations in both Retail and International areas. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring stock is made available to the business in a timely manner and that demand for this stock is fulfilled within required timelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the overall flow of stock through both Retail and International warehouses
  • Lead a team of 4 Warehouse Supervisors, ensuring they are targeted and developed as necessary
  • Implement processes and ways of working to leverage synergies across the whole DC and remove silo working
  • Manage required headcount, with the provision of additional resource as required
  • Control DC functions to ensure all KPI's and SLA's are met
  • Maintain required Health and Safety standards within the operation
  • Deliver a process of continuous improvement by leading and driving change to increase site efficiencies and deliver best service to the business
  • Maintain clear productivity records to monitor UPH and drive improvements
  • Ensure all physical DC operations are undertaken in line with audited processes to ensure compliance with HMRC and AEO regulations
  • Manage costs and expenditure within agreed budgets and take full accountability for operational costs associated with the physical operations
  • Present outbound shipments in line with specified customer requirements
  • Support other DC departments as required
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience at DC department manager level
  • Extensive experience of operating in a Retail DC environment
  • Experience of working with both UK and overseas customers
  • Demonstrable ability to develop teams and individuals to maximise their full potential
  • Proven track record in developing operational efficiencies and process improvements within a warehouse environment
  • Strong people management skills
