About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our Quality and Regulatory Team at the University of Southampton.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and developing vital quality and regulatory systems, ensuring that clinical trials meet high regulatory standards and prioritizing patient safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise with internal and external clinical research teams to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Track, report, and file quality documents, supporting pharmacovigilance tasks and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Set up new systems to complement existing processes, improving efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
  • Strong English communication skills, with excellent attention to detail and high standards of accuracy.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to understand and rationalize problems.
  • Ability to follow standard procedures and enter information accurately into in-house databases.
  • Desirable: understanding of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and clinical trial regulations.

The Quality and Regulatory Team is a dynamic and collaborative environment, committed to delivering high-quality clinical trials that benefit patients.

We are a hybrid working environment, offering a flexible approach to working from home and a minimum of two days in the office (pro-rata).
