  • Promote the Home-from-Home scheme to recruit volunteers in the Dundee and surrounding area.
  • Interview and select suitable volunteers, performing home visits to assess their suitability.
  • Work with the Volunteer Coordinator to ensure that volunteering standards are adhered to.
  • Identify dogs suitable for the Home-from-Home scheme and conduct dog assessments for placements.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, discussing dog applications and matching dogs with potential adopters.

About You:

We are looking for an individual with experience in handling dogs and matching them to potential adopters. You will be a confident communicator, able to screen and assess dogs for health issues, aggression, and behavior problems. You will also be equipped to deal with sensitive and challenging situations in an appropriate manner.
