About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Support Specialist to join our team at Lookers Audi in Newcastle. As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our finance team with daily, weekly, and monthly tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and reconcile debtors and perform credit control procedures
- Assist with various monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Manage cashiering responsibilities, including banking and petty cash
- Support the management team by resolving accounting queries
- Report discrepancies to the relevant departmental manager
- Liaise with managers on a regular basis to build strong relationships
Requirements
- Previous experience in a finance-oriented role, preferably with strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Ability to reconcile data efficiently and maintain accurate records
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to work well under pressure and prioritize workload
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality
